The Happy Pet Sitter, LLC was founded in 2022 in Pawleys Island.  Our mission is to provide peace of mind to our clients with professional and personable in-home pet care.  We are passionate about your pets and promise to respect and love them like they are our very own!

 

The owner began pet sitting in 2003 on a part-time business while working full-time in the medical field.  In 2009,  the business was bought by another company due to a job transfer.   

 

After retiring from the medical field in 2022  we began pet sitting full-time and could not be happier!  Hence the company name,  "The Happy Pet Sitter!"  

 

 We are bonded and insured for liability through Pet Sitter Associates.  We value ongoing continued education and  interact with and learn daily from other pet professionals. 

 

The owner is certified with  Pet Sitters International and  and is currently enrolled in veterinary tech courses on-line.  She is also enrolled in the Fear Free Pet Certification Program in an effort to reduce fear, anxiety and stress in the pets she cares for while their pet parents are traveling.  She was previously certified with PetTech in CPR and first -aid and is in the process of undergoing re-certification of same to completed August 31st 2023.
